This story depicts the story of an Armenian family fleeing the Genocide of 1915. A story of love and determination, for all ages. It is based on the true story of the Kazarian Family of Fowler.

Joan Schoettler is an award-winning author and has written five picture books and a middle grade novel. Joan writes biographies, narrative nonfiction biographies, and imaginative playful picture books for young readers. Joan’s believes stories come to life when we are paying attention to what we love, to those who touch our lives, and to cherished moments and experiences.

The book signing will begin at 6:30pm.
